Curiosity X Insights (Pty) Ltd, South Africa, is the responsible party for personal information collected through Clean & Visualise.
Your files are never uploaded
Spreadsheets are opened, cleaned and charted inside your browser. Their contents, column values and file names are never sent to us.
What we store
- Account details: email, name, company, what you report on, and your marketing choice.
- Saved recipes: column names, column types and cleaning steps — never cell values.
- Usage counts: files processed, recipe replays, and product events (e.g. "chart downloaded") with no data content.
- Leads: details you enter to receive a report, plus row/column counts and health scores, and where you came from (UTM, referrer).
- Billing: subscription status. Card details are handled by Paddle, never by us.
Service providers
- Resend — sending email.
- Paddle — payments, invoices and tax, as merchant of record.
- Our hosting and database provider, which stores the information above.
Why we use it
To provide your account and plan, send the emails you ask for, and — if you opted in — occasional reporting tips. We may contact leads about our consulting services; you can opt out anytime.
Your rights (POPIA and GDPR)
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, object to marketing, or withdraw consent. You may also complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) or your local data protection authority.
Retention
We keep account data while your account is open and leads for up to 24 months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
