Terms of Service

These terms apply to Clean & Visualise ("the Service"), provided by Curiosity X Insights (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to them.
1. The Service
Clean & Visualise is a software-as-a-service tool that cleans and charts spreadsheet data. Files are processed inside your web browser; we do not receive or store their contents.
2. Accounts
You may use parts of the Service without an account. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping access to your email address secure and for activity under your account.
3. Plans and subscriptions
- Free use is subject to the limits shown on the pricing page, which we may change.
- Pro is a subscription billed monthly or yearly in advance and renews automatically until cancelled.
- You can cancel anytime; Pro stays active until the end of the paid period.
4. Payments through Paddle
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's buyer terms apply to your purchase.
5. Acceptable use
- Don't use the Service for anything unlawful, or to process data you have no right to use.
- Don't attempt to bypass usage limits, disrupt the Service, or reverse-engineer it beyond what the law allows.
- Don't resell the Service without our written permission.
6. Your data and results
You keep all rights to your files and the results. You are responsible for checking cleaned data and charts before relying on them.
7. Liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Changes and termination
We may update these terms and will post the new version here. We may suspend accounts that breach them.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction.
